Privacy Policy

In short: Your financial data never leaves your device. We don't collect, store, or share any of your personal information. Kakeibo is designed with privacy at its core.

1. Who We Are

Kakeibo is developed by Halil Göktepe ("we", "us", "our"). This privacy policy explains how the Kakeibo mobile application handles your information.

2. Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. All information you enter into Kakeibo — including transactions, budgets, journal entries, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's CoreData framework and UserDefaults.

3. Data Storage

Local only: All your financial data is stored on your iPhone and never transmitted to any server.
No cloud sync: We do not currently offer cloud synchronization. Your data exists only on the device where you entered it.
No accounts: Kakeibo does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

Kakeibo uses the following third-party service:

RevenueCat: Used solely to process in-app subscriptions (Kakeibo Pro). RevenueCat receives only the information necessary to manage your subscription through Apple's App Store. We do not share any of your financial data with RevenueCat. You can review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

5. Analytics and Tracking

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. No usage data, crash reports, or behavioral information is collected or transmitted.

6. Notifications

Kakeibo may send local notifications as daily spending reminders if you enable this feature. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and are not sent through any external server.

7. Data Export

You can export your transaction data as a CSV file at any time through the app's Settings. The exported file is generated locally on your device.

8. Data Deletion

You can permanently delete all your data at any time through Settings > Reset All Data. Since we store nothing externally, deleting the app also removes all your data.

9. Children's Privacy

Kakeibo does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to use.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
