Terms of Use

1. Using Tilesday

By downloading or using Tilesday: American Mahjong (the "App"), you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What the App is

Tilesday teaches and lets you practice American Mahjong: lessons, games against computer players, a daily puzzle and your stats. It plays with its own original card of hands. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Mah Jongg League or any card publisher.

Scores in the App are points for practice. The App involves no real money, betting or prizes.

3. Tilesday Premium

• Lessons, games against Easy computer players, today's daily puzzle and your stats' totals are free.
• Tilesday Premium adds Medium and Hard computer players, your full stats and every past daily puzzle. It is sold through the App Store as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A free trial, when offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.
• Apple handles payments, refunds and trial eligibility under its own terms.

4. Your data

Your saved game, lessons, stats, daily puzzles and settings stay on your device. The only records kept off it are the sales records described in the Privacy Policy. Because your play is never stored on our side, data lost with a device, a reset or by deleting the App can't be recovered.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its card of hands, lessons, puzzles, tile art, sounds, design and code, belongs to Halil Göktepe. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer it. The rules of American Mahjong belong to no one, and you are free to play and teach them.

6. No warranty

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Halil Göktepe is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and using the App after a change means you accept the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
